We often hear about loving ourselves, but what is this about? Loving ourselves means that knowing we deserve better, and cultivating our strengths, reconnecting to our cores; who we are really deep down. If you’ve realized that certain ways you’ve tried aren’t working for you, try these then:

  2. Keeping a gratitude journal
  3. Keeping healthy boundaries
  4. Maintaining self-care
  5. Cultivating spirituality (if relevant)
  6. Keeping up with your hobbies
  7. Learning new interests
  8. Practicing taking a non-judgmental stance
  9. Speaking dialectical “and” statements

Loving yourself can be slightly challenging and complicated at first, and it’s doable. It is all about giving trust to ourselves, and we move forward according to our own pace. Remember, you are your own best friend!
