I see more rainy days nowadays in my area. It is not just a drizzle - it's literally heavy rain accompanied by thunder. Personally, I have always preferred rainy days - I like the sound of rain and how it makes the weather cooler. Also, how the sky clears up or the night sky looks brighter after the rain always gives me a sense of hope 😊

We have a proverb that says : prepare yourself for the 🌧 days. I totally agree with this. It is a habit of mine to always come up with plan B or plan C in whatever I do. This helps me to maintain my composure and for me not to 'lose my mind'. Hence, I do not usually make harsh decisions or do things impulsively. It can take some time for me to decide on some things - but once I make my decision to take on anything, I do my work really fast - time is of the essence. Since time waits for no man, we need to spend time wisely.

What do we do on days we feel like we can't find time for ourselves? Create the opportunities for you to have the time, be it a mere 5 minutes 😊 Why bother? Because you are worth it 😉.

Coming back to 🌧 days...... I realise that I am able to wind down and do things at a slower pace whenever it rains. Especially when there is a thunderstorm - all electronics off - that's when I do things manually and in analogue mode. It may not be for long (no longer than 1 hour or so), but it's priceless. I talk less and listen more too - which is absolutely a bonus!

How do you prepare yourselves for 🌧 days?
